About Dosage Calcs

Clear, carefully tested dosage-calculation tools and nursing study resources.

Dosage Calcs is for nursing students (RN, LPN, and LVN), nursing instructors, nurses refreshing their skills, and other healthcare students who use the same math.

What’s here

The goal is one place to learn, calculate, see the work, and practice:

• Calculators that show every step and every unit conversion.
• Med-Math Practice with generated problems, answer checking and worked solutions.
• The Learning Center: plain-language lessons on the common calculation methods.
• The Med-Math Quick Reference of conversions and formulas.
• NCLEX-RN Review: original practice questions and fictional case studies.
• Nursing Notes: documentation guides, fictional examples and blank templates.

Our approach

Accuracy comes before feature count. Formulas are checked against published references, and calculators and practice problems are tested with known answers. Read the methodology and sources.

Review status

The NCLEX-RN Review and Nursing Notes content is written from cited public sources but has not yet been reviewed by a licensed nurse or other clinician. Automated testing checks structure and math; it is not clinical review.

What Dosage Calcs is not

It isn’t a prescribing tool, a drug reference, or a place to chart real patient care, and it doesn’t replace clinical judgment, pharmacists, or facility policy. Educational use.
